Mission Operations Engineer

Create flight procedures, command plans and anomaly responses for launch, commissioning and continuous constellation operations.

Build the capability for the era ahead.

This team member will combine subject-matter depth, sound judgment and disciplined execution to move the mission from architecture to measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Mission Operations workstream for Mission Operations Engineer and deliver measurable technical or operating outcomes.
  • Design and operate the command, telemetry, network and workflow systems supporting continuous missions.
  • Develop procedures, automation, monitoring and anomaly-response playbooks.
  • Protect command authority, data integrity and service availability.

Required qualifications

  • Experience with ground systems, TT&C, mission control, network operations or satellite operations.
  • Strong operational judgment, troubleshooting ability and procedural discipline.
  • Ability to support readiness exercises and time-sensitive incident response.

Preferred experience

  • Experience with constellation operations, secure command systems or autonomous operations.
  • Familiarity with ground-station scheduling and customer data delivery.

The hiring sequence follows operating milestones and project requirements. This position may begin through advisory, consulting or project-based work before moving into a full-time role.
